Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of piping systems, work along side the QC team
Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shapes and sizes
Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures such as valves, pumps, and meters
Hydro/Pnuematic test pipe systems for leaks using pressure gauges and other equipment
Repair and maintain pipe systems by replacing or repairing defective parts
Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure efficient and effective completion of projects

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar role
Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings
Solid knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations
Ability to accurately measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes




Experience with welding techniques for pipe joining is preferred
Basic math skills for measuring and calculating pipe lengths
Excellent problem-solving skills to identify issues and find solutions
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate installation of pipes and fittings
Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, lifting heavy objects, and working in confined spaces
