Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter and Decorator to join our agile team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through expert painting, decorating, and finishing techniques. Your craftsmanship will enhance the aesthetic appeal and protect surfaces across a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers to ensure optimal adhesion of paints and finishes
Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes with skill and attention to detail
Use a variety of tools including brushes, rollers, spray guns, and scaffolding equipment safely and effectively
Assess project requirements to select appropriate materials, colors, and techniques that meet client specifications
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste responsibly throughout each project
Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of decorating projects




Conduct quality inspections to verify finishes meet standards and rectify any imperfections promptly

Qualifications
Proven experience as a painter and decorator or in a similar role with a robust portfolio of completed projects
Knowledge of surface preparation techniques, paint application methods, wallpaper installation, and finishing touches
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and client requests accurately
Familiarity with safety protocols related to working at heights, handling chemicals, and operating power tools
Excellent attention to detail combined with solid organizational skills
Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and lifting heavy materials
Valid certifications or licenses related to painting or decorating (preferred but not mandatory)

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
