The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Project Geologist to join ourGlencore Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations.

This is a full-time, permanent, staff position.

Range of Pay: $132,500 to $148,100 (includes annual variable compensation bonus).

This position is being posted to fill an existing vacancy.

Work location is not accessible by public transportation.

Duties and Accountabilities:

Reporting to the Senior Geologist; the successful candidate will accountable for the generation, implementation and supervision of field programs and ensuring that the exploration potential of properties are properly evaluated. The incumbent is also responsible for identifying new project areas, and business opportunities.

Education and Skills

Qualifications for this position include: 6 years of progressive experience in mining/exploration and possessing a Skilled Geoscientist designation from the APGO. Working knowledge of computer spreadsheets, word processing (i.e. Excel/Word) and experience with CAD and geological modeling software is essential.



Applicant must have the ability to work with minimal supervision and be an effective team member with robust communication and interpersonal skills.
