POSITION OVERVIEW

Under the supervision of the Manager Capital Projects, the Project Manager is responsible for the overall management, administration and direction of the balcony and building envelop rehabilitation project and any other project under their assigned portfolio.

RESPONSBILITIES

- Lead end-to-end project delivery—from scoping and planning to execution and post-launch review.
- Coordinate with site contractors (may include residential contractors, utility companies, engineering or other)
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between engineering, design, construction and operations teams.
- Identify risks early, create mitigation strategies, and keep projects moving forward under tight deadlines.
- Communicate project status, challenges, and wins to stakeholders through clear, concise reporting.
- Foster a culture of accountability, adaptability, and continuous improvement within the project team.
- Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Business Administration, Marketing Management, Architecture, Construction, Engineering or Project Management
- A Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), Professional Licensee Engineering (P.L. (Eng.)), or Skilled Technologist (P.Tech. (Eng.)) designation is required.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in delivering complex projects
- Managing project(s) valued between $3M and $15M.
- A Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or a Program Management Professional (PgMP) designation,



is considered an asset.
- Excellent communication skills including proposal writing, budgeting and presentations
- Strong analytical skills with project management, risk management and project implementation experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Experience with the Alberta Building Code and Occupational Health and Safety
- Highly organized and detailed with strong analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with all levels of internal and external clients/stakeholders/contractors/subcontractors
- Organizational skills with the ability to identify and manage priorities
- Proficient use of computer and related software
- Demonstrated proficiency with all applicable software packages including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, MS Windows, MS Project, PowerPoint and AutoCAD

- Normal office conditions
- Ability to crouch, climb and enter confined spaces
- Site visits and Inspections
- Fast-paced environment
- Evening and weekend hours as required.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and abstract acceptable to Employer.
- Acceptable criminal record check

SALARY: WBH offers competitive compensation for this role. The amount offered will be commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications.
