Job Summary
We are seeking a agile and detail-oriented Property Management Officer to join our team! In this vital role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of property portfolios, ensuring optimal maintenance, tenant satisfaction, and efficient administrative processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a thriving property management environment where your organizational skills and customer service expertise will shine.
Responsibilities
- Ensure terms of lease agreements are met
- Prepare and administer contracts for property services, such as maintenance
- Coordinate implementation of repairs, maintenance and renovation
- Monitor progress and cost of work for property owners
- Compile and maintain records on operating expenses and income
- Ensure response to trouble calls from clients or tenants
- Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
- Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures
- Establish work priorities and ensure that procedures are followed and deadlines are met
- Review and evaluate new administrative procedures
- Monitor and evaluate
- Carry out administrative duties of establishment
- Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
- Delegate work to office support staff
- Coordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking,
maintenance and security services
Requirements
Language:
English - French not required
Education:
Minimum of a secondary (high school) graduation certificate
Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years' administrative experience
Skills/Abilities:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Office, Outlook
- Proficiency in the use of electronic mail
- Must be client-focused, with excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must be dependable and reliable
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
