Personal Support Worker (PSW) – Tagalog Speaking Preferred

Safe Umbrella Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide in-home support to a client.

We are looking for someone who is experienced in providing personal care and who is comfortable preparing Filipino or Vietnamese-style meals.

Responsibilities

- Provide compassionate personal care and companionship
- Assist with activities of daily living as required
- Prepare meals according to the client's preferences
- Prepare Filipino and/or Vietnamese-style home-cooked meals
- Maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment
- Follow the client's care plan and individual preferences
- Communicate professionally with the client and family
- Report any changes or concerns to the appropriate supervisor

Qualifications




- PSW certificate or relevant caregiving experience
- Previous experience providing in-home or community-based care
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prepare Filipino or Vietnamese-style meals
- Reliable, patient and compassionate
- Tagalog language skills are an asset and preferred for this assignment
- Ability to work independently while following the client's care plan
- Vulnerable Sector Check and other required documentation
