SAGE Counselling Services is a multidisciplinary network of social workers, counsellors, and psychologists who are committed to improving timely access to high‑quality mental health counselling services. We provide in‑person, telephone, and virtual counselling grounded in evidence‑based practice.

Current Opportunities

SAGE is seeking psychologists who are registered with, or eligible to be registered with, the College of Psychologists of New Brunswick.

Employment opportunities are presently available to provide face-to-face psychological counselling services to children, youth, adults, couples, and families in the Moncton region, and virtual services to individuals throughout New Brunswick. The work involves assessment, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and individual counselling.

Key Clinical Responsibilities

- Demonstrate an understanding of interpersonal relationships, knowledge of theories of intervention, assessment and diagnosis and an ability to counsel individuals.
- Accept responsibility for and provide direct clinical psychology counselling services to referred clients according to agency policy and professional standards of conduct.
- Complete counselling assessments, progress notes,



closing summaries and other documentation according to agency policy.
- Ensure that client files and records are clinically accurate and controlled according to policy and standards.
- Provide clients with referral services to other community-based services as appropriate.

Required Qualifications

- Eligible for licensing with the College of Psychologists of New Brunswick
- Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
