Duties
Assess vehicle damage thoroughly to determine the scope of repairs needed
Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques to perform body repairs, panel replacements, and refinishing tasks
Remove damaged parts and prepare surfaces for painting or refinishing processes
Conduct mechanical inspections to identify underlying issues that may affect body repairs
Collaborate with team members to ensure repairs meet safety standards and quality expectations
Maintain a clean and organized workspace,



adhering to safety protocols at all times
Document repair procedures accurately and communicate progress effectively with supervisors and customers

Experience
Previous dealership or automotive repair shop experience highly preferred
Strong knowledge with a solid understanding of vehicle structures and systems
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other automotive repair equipment
Experience with heavy lifting safely handling vehicle parts or components
Experience or background in automotive repair is advantageous
Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining attention to detail
Willingness to learn current techniques and stay updated on industry best practices
