Responsibilities
Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
Support with medication administration following proper protocols and documentation procedures
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
Provide compassionate patient care in various settings including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or private homes
Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a protected and hygienic environment for residents and staff
Support with dementia care, hospice care, or individuals with disabilities by implementing personalized care plans




Engage residents in social activities and companionship to foster emotional well-being and community connection

Requirements
Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments is highly desirable
Knowledge of patient care practices, including medication administration and hygiene support
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when assisting residents with mobility or transfers
Robust communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare team members
Certification as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) or Health Support Worker (HSW) is preferred; relevant training will be supported if needed
Experience working with individuals with dementia or disabilities is an asset
Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy, patience, and professionalism

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
