Duties
Assist in preparing a wide range of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and desserts, following established recipes and standards
Decorate cakes and desserts with precision using various cake decorating techniques to ensure visual appeal
Support the food preparation process by measuring ingredients, mixing batters, and assembling finished products
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen to meet food safety and hygiene standards
Package baked goods for presentation or delivery, ensuring quality and freshness are preserved
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production and service of all pastry items




Adhere to food handling regulations and safety procedures at all times to guarantee a safe working environment

Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or bakery environment is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is essential
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, baking processes, and cake decorating skills
Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling practices
Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service
Basic kitchen experience including food preparation, cooking, packaging, and maintaining cleanliness
Willingness to learn recent skills in baking, decorating, and food presentation within the food industry
