We are looking for a candidate for our School Age Care Program. Before School Care from 7am-9am and After School Care from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm. The minimum qualifications are a Responsible Adult Certificate. Please only apply if you can work these hours and have a RA certificate.

The successful candidates will have to demonstrate a genuine passion for providing the highest standards in quality childcare - strong communication skills and team-working abilities are essential. We are looking of an energetic, enthusiastic and experienced candidate for this program.

Responsibilities:
Follow the Emerald Hills philosophy and curriculum to plan, implement and supervise age-appropriate activities
Daily set-up and clean-up and clean-up
Provide clear & caring supervision to children
Consider the individual needs and goals of each child and respond accordingly
Ensure the health and safety of the children
Work as part of the team,



which includes children, their parents, and the Center staff members, using the philosophy of the Center
Works in conjunction with the Manager and the Administrator to ensure the needs of the classroom are met. This includes the children and the staff.
Give and take direction while making informed decisions in a fast-paced environment
Participate in team meetings and career development days
Communicate effectively with parents and staff
Maintain a safe, and positive learning workplace for all children and their families

Job Type: Part time

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:
Responsible Adult Certificate, ECEA, or ECE Certificate (required)
