Our client is a growing, locally owned transportation, recycling and waste management company seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver for year-round work throughout Southern Vancouver Island.

This is a permanent position with a variety of equipment, routes and hauling assignments.

What You’ll Do
Operate manual-transmission Class 1 trucks and trailers
Haul waste, recyclables, aggregates, soil and other materials
Operate end dumps, walking floors, transfer trailers, quad/pup combinations and other equipment as required
Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and required documentation
Use mobile dispatch and routing software
Follow all company, transportation and WorkSafeBC safety requirements
Provide qualified customer service
Adapt to changing routes, equipment and operational needs

What We’re Looking For
Valid Class 1 licence with manual transmission competency required
Clean and safe driving record
Experience with end dumps,



walking floors, transfer trailers or 53-foot trailers is an asset
Comfortable using mobile devices and dispatch software
Robust communication and organizational skills
Reliable, safety-focused and adaptable
Available for occasional Saturday shifts
