Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and productive Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Previous experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. The position involves handling cash transactions, operating POS systems, and maintaining food safety standards.

Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and consistency
Handle cash register operations using Micros POS or similar systems, including cashiering and cash handling
Assist customers with menu selections and answer questions about products
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations
Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
Restock supplies as needed and assist in food preparation when necessary




Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming setting and addressing customer needs promptly

Qualifications
Previous 1 year experience as a Barista or in the food service industry is must.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for success in this role
