Ottawa Electrical Contracting is a busy, family-run business looking for a licensed electrician to join our team full time. We work on both residential and commercial projects.
We’re looking for someone who has at least five years of experience, can work independently, works well with a team, and is always willing to learn.

Qualifications
Finished apprenticeship
Completed required schooling
Passed the licensing exam
Meets minimum experience requirements
Legally considered a licensed electrician
Can work independently
Proven experience as an electrician, preferably with industrial and commercial backgrounds.
Robust knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialized electrical equipment.
Experience working with low voltage systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
Familiarity with construction processes, renovation projects, and electrical code compliance.
Maintenance Person skills are a plus for versatile troubleshooting and minor repairs.
Ability to interpret technical documents accurately and work independently or as part of a team.
Licensed Electrician minimum 5 years of experience
