Galaxy Motors (1990) Ltd. is a quick growing company with 5 Automotive locations and 2 RV locations here on Vancouver Island. We are looking to to hire a Service Advisor to add to our team at our Langford Service Centre. If you are detail-oriented and interested in a career in automotive service, we would like to hear from you.

Reporting to the Service Manager, the Service Advisor's are responsible for the following:
Estimate the cost and time needed for a wide range of repairs
Welcoming customers and discussing their needs
Answering customer inquiries, either in person or on the telephone
Develop repair estimates by taking the cost of materials, supplies, and labour into consideration
Prepare repair orders by detailing the vehicle’s problems or symptoms
Connecting customers to the right auto technician
Confirm test drive of customers’ vehicle was completed
Maintaining automotive records by keeping track of problems and corrective actions
Make sure all RO’s are filled out correctly including exact mileage in and out




Alignment and tire checker is printed and attached to each work order
Proper communication on repairs needed to both the customer and sales.
Body problems - Scratches, dents, or major body damage (must be clear)
Ensure workspace is clean and presentable to customers.
A team-first attitude. Working with our technicians, parts advisors and sales.
Rapid-paced workplace, ability to follow tasks under pressure or deadlines.
Writing and processing warranty claims

Requirements:
Extensive knowledge of both import & domestic vehicles
Ability to multi-task in a high volume shop
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
Shows initiative
Familiar with Microsoft Office, Excel, building spreadsheets - Gmail, creating files/folders
PBS knowledge an asset.

Pay: $48,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
