Pallet Repair

Duties:
Inspect pallets for damaged or missing pieces
Perform repairs and stack into categories of size
Work with a power saw, crowbar, hammer, and nail gun, chop saw to replace with recent boards
Other duties include manual sorting, lifting, use of pallet jack, keeping a clean work area, sweeping and tidying up at end of shift.
Keep a log of daily target and log on repairs.

Skills:

-Physical job
Experience with power tools
Must be able to lift to 50lbs unassisted repeatedly
Must work well independant, and self motivated
Maintaining a clean protected work area.

Must wear safety boots , work gloves, and protective eyewear. Training will be provided. Indoor facility, close to bus route Big Bay & Huronia cloest intersection. Work well with minimal supervision—exposure to dust and loud noise. Day shift, no weekends unless needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.50 per hour
