All Steel Craft Fabricators Ltd is a well-established Edmonton based company looking for field welders (CWB Certified) to join our team.
The successful applicant will have a minimum of three years structural steel welding experience and completion of secondary schooling.

Welder will be required to perform the following duties;
Perform SMAW welding on structural steel components in the field.
Weld structural steel beams, columns, braces, connections, base plates, stiffeners and miscellaneous steel.
Perform all-position welding, including flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead welds. CWB Certification a must!
Read and interpret structural drawings, shop drawings, welding symbols and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
Identify weld sizes, types, locations and required welding procedures from drawings and specifications.
Prepare steel surfaces and joints for welding,



including cleaning, grinding, beveling and removing mill scale, rust, paint or other contaminants.
Verify proper fit-up, alignment and joint preparation before welding.
Perform tack welding and assist the erection crew with positioning and securing steel members.
