Job Summary

We are seeking a agile and detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor to lead our accounting team and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all financial records. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily accounting operations, manage account analysis, and support financial reporting processes. Your expertise will help streamline workflows, enhance financial controls, and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities
Schedule and coordinate events, programs, and organizational activities.
Prepare and maintain work schedules for staff.
Train workers in their assigned duties, procedures, and organizational policies.
Prepare and submit operational and administrative reports.
Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of equipment.
Review financial transactions to ensure accuracy and proper documentation.
Coordinate, assign, and review the work of staff.




Requisition or order required materials, equipment, and supplies.
Coordinate activities and workflow with other work units and departments.

Skills
Strong knowledge of corporate finance principles and accounting standards
Proficiency in accounting software including Sage, Xero, and other relevant tools
Expertise in accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliation, and bank reconciliation procedures
Experience with auditing processes and financial services operations
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for account analysis and reporting
Ability to manage payroll functions accurately and efficiently
Familiarity with budgeting processes and bookkeeping best practices
Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present financial insights clearly

Pay: $44.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 per week
