Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Welder to join our team at Northwest Enclosures, a quick-growing company. This role is key for our recent expansion to the Eastern part of Canada, with a recent facility located in Bolton, Ontario. With support from the Working Forman and Journeyman Welders, the welder will assist in fitting, assembling, forming, welding, finishing and repairing enclosures.

Responsibilities
Responsible for fabricating and welding metal parts for the enclosures and fuel tanks
Responsible for cutting, fitting, and welding with a variety of processes
Responsible for reading drawings and performing quality control on the work completed
Responsible for maintaining tools and equipment used in daily work for welding and fitting materials
Assisting with insulating, drywalling, sheeting
Adhere to safety standards and procedures with continuously changing working environments

Qualifications
Experience with welding using a variety of processes, and progressing through Level C (Level 1) and Level B (Level 2) welding qualifications




Experience with fabrication and fabrication tools
Effective organization and communication skills with coworkers in both verbal and written forms
Experience with measuring tools and QC/QA equipment and methods
Technical skills for interpreting construction methods and reading technical drawings
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently
Ability to handle and manipulate sheet metal and move it between machines, off shelfs, and on to carts
Ideal to have a basic understanding in Generator / Electrical House industry

Work Location & Hours:

In person for 40hrs a week at 151 Parr Blvd, Bolton, Ontario. Shifts will be Monday-Thursday, 6:00am to 4:30pm. Overtime may be available.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$40.00 per hour
