Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Disciplinary and/or functional management of employees
Coordinating and assigning employees as per the qualification matrix, coordinating tasks within the shift
Coordinating shift changes
Maintaining shift-related information in the shop floor management
Recording and working through instances of wastage and potential improvements in production and the organizational structures
Ensuring compliance with workplace instructions (e.g. break times, smoking ban, alcohol, reporting in sick, dealing with accidents in the workplace)
Responsible for the instruction and training of employees (incl. initial instruction in occupational safety)
Ensuring and complying with work-related regulations
Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements




Supervisory experience in Union setting,
valuable communication and interpersonal skills
Grade 12 or equivalent
Computer knowledge, organizational and strong leadership skills

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

Leamington, ON N8H 5P2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:
Supervisory and planning: 7 years (required)

Licence/Certification:
Drivers license, insurance and Canadian Passport (required)
