Qualifications & Competencies

The ideal candidate will:

Be reliable, hardworking, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace
Have strong organizational and multitasking skills
Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Follow all food safety standards and procedures
Hold a valid Food Handler Certificate
Follow brand standards, systems, and procedures consistently
Maintain a clean, secure, and organized work environment
Have solid communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and speak English
Have 1–2 years of kitchen or line cook experience

Key Responsibilities

As a Kitchen Hand / Cook, your responsibilities will include:




Opening and/or closing the kitchen according to established procedures
Preparing, cooking, and plating food in a timely and consistent manner
Following recipes, portion controls, and brand standards
Ensuring all food is prepared and presented to quality standards
Maintaining food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
Completing daily kitchen cleaning and maintenance duties
Working collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service
Keeping the kitchen organized and properly stocked throughout the shift

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
Peace River, AB T8S 1S9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:
Restaurant: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
Food Safety Certification (preferred)
