Responsibilities
Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and specialty items, following established recipes and quality standards
Decorate cakes and desserts with precision, creativity, and attention to detail to enhance visual appeal
Manage food preparation tasks efficiently to ensure timely availability of fresh products each morning
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace in compliance with food safety regulations
Package baked goods carefully for display or takeout orders, ensuring freshness and presentation quality




Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying management of stock needs
Provide friendly customer service by answering questions about baked goods and offering recommendations when needed

Requirements
Proven experience in baking, cake decorating, or food preparation within a bakery or restaurant setting
Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards to ensure hygienic practices
Robust skills in cooking, baking, and food industry best practices
Experience with kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and decorating tools
Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
Ability to stand for extended periods during early morning shifts and lift heavy ingredients or supplies as needed
Certification or training in food safety is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
