Duties
Assist with surface preparation including sanding, scraping, and cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion
Mix paints, primers, and other materials accurately according to project specifications
Handle hand tools and power tools safely to support painting and carpentry tasks
Help with drywall installation, caulking, and minor carpentry work to prepare surfaces for painting
Follow blueprints, schematics, and instructions to ensure precise application of paint and finishes
Maintain a clean work environment by disposing of debris and organizing tools and materials efficiently

Requirements




Prior construction experience or familiarity with building sites is preferred but not required
Knowledge of drywall installation, restoration techniques, or industrial painting is a plus
Experience with hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, and rigging equipment
Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors effectively
Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines without compromising quality
Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy materials, and work at heights as needed
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn current skills in residential painting environments

Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
