Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be able to read blueprints and accurately align and fabricate according to required dimensions, specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and fabrication specifications
Align and fabricate baseplates according to required dimensions and tolerances
Perform MIG welding and metal fabrication
Align components and complete alignment reports
Drill and tap holes accurately
Perform mechanical assembly of components
Use a variety of hand tools and power tools
Paint completed assemblies as required
Stage completed assemblies for shipping
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow all workplace safety and quality procedures

Requirements
Previous experience in metal fabrication and MIG welding
Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
Experience with drilling, tapping,



mechanical assembly, and component alignment
Experience operating a milling machine is asset
Solid knowledge of hand and power tools
Forklift experience.
Positive attention to detail and ability to work with exact measurements
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
