Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team. Locations include Lethbridge, Taber, Raymond, Stirling and Cardston. As a caregiver, you will provide essential support and assistance to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. This is a rewarding chance to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Health Care Aid (HCA) Certification is preferred but not required. Unable to support LMIA candidates at this time.

Responsibilities:
Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and tidying up
Accompany clients to medical appointments and outings
Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate healthcare specialists
Provide specialized care for clients with dementia or other cognitive impairments

Skills:




Previous experience in caregiving or related field is preferred
Knowledge of medication administration and proper dosage
Ability to perform lifting and physical tasks as required
Understanding of dementia care techniques and strategies
Robust communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently and follow care plans effectively
Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with seniors
