Responsibilities
Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and brushing to meet each dog’s specific needs and breed standards
Assess each dog’s coat, skin condition, and temperament to determine appropriate grooming techniques and products
Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and in excellent condition
Communicate clearly with pet owners about grooming preferences, special needs, and aftercare instructions
Handle dogs safely during grooming procedures, demonstrating patience and gentle care at all times




Assist with heavy lifting of large or heavy dogs to ensure their safety and comfort during grooming sessions
Provide friendly customer service by answering questions, scheduling appointments, and creating a welcoming setting for clients

Experience
Previous experience in dog grooming or a related pet care role is preferred
Robust customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling larger dogs or equipment
Passion for animals with a genuine desire to improve their health and appearance
Basic knowledge of breed standards, grooming techniques, and safety protocols in a pet care setting
