A Taleo client is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Lead to provide leadership and oversight across testing activities for complex technology initiatives. The successful candidate will bring a strong background in quality assurance, test planning, and team leadership, with the ability to work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and project leadership to ensure solutions are delivered to a high standard of quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the overall QA and testing strategy across projects and initiatives

- Develop and oversee test plans, test cases, test scripts, and testing schedules

- Coordinate functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing

- Provide guidance and mentorship to QA analysts and other testing resources

- Review business and technical requirements to ensure appropriate test coverage

- Lead defect management activities, including prioritization, tracking, escalation, and resolution

- Work closely with developers, business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to identify and resolve quality issues

- Support and coordinate UAT activities with business users

- Monitor testing progress, risks, dependencies, and quality metrics,



providing regular updates to project leadership

- Establish and improve QA standards, processes, tools, and best practices

- Identify opportunities for test automation and continuous improvement

- Ensure testing documentation and evidence are complete, accurate, and maintained throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications

- 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, software testing, or a related field

- Demonstrated experience leading QA activities on complex technology projects

- Strong experience developing test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scripts

- Experience leading and mentoring QA or testing resources

- Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies

- Experience with functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing

- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms

- Robust analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and testing workstreams in a quick-paced project environment
