Be a part of the Health Care team to promote health and safety practices throughout the camp. Be there for the staff and campers to care for their physical health - from first aid situations to facilitating daily medications.
Experience:
Standard First Aid - with CPR-C required
Medical student (nursing, paramedic, medicine) preferred
Knowledge of pediatric conditions beneficial
Duties Include:
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Able to work independently
Promote health and safety practices throughout the camp
Monitor health of campers and staff, maintain health records and implement the established health care plan
Follow appropriate health routines as outlined by the Medeba Health Policy, HKPR Health Unit, and approved standing medication orders
Medication administration.
Age Requirement: 20 years old
Honorarium: starts at $270/week
Length: 10 weeks
