Qualifications & Skills
5+ years accounting experience
Proficiency with Quickbooks Online
Robust organizational and time management skills - must be efficient
Strong attention to detail
Robust communication and interpersonal skills
Experience managing team members considered an asset

Key Responsibilities
Mentor and lead accounting technicans over multiple sites
Review monthly reporting for individual entitites
Review monthly reporting for the group as a whole
Ensure proper controls in place
Lead monthly budgeting meetings
Lead the annual budgeting process
Ensure accuracy of all financial entries and coding
Support month-end close and year-end audit preparation
Maintain organized and complete financial records for Companies
Other duties as required

Other Details to Note:
About 2 days every 2 months would be spent in Current Brunswick to manage the accounting team there. The remaining time would be in an office in Charlottetown PE, Monday to Friday approximately 8am-4pm.

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
