Dental Assistant (Level I or Level II) — Full-Time

Location: North York, ON (In-person)

Compensation: $22.00 – $28.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule: 4–5 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday)

About ALFIE Dentistry

ALFIE Dentistry is a modern, family-owned private practice in North York dedicated to comprehensive, patient-centered care. Our team consists of three dentists and two hygienists supported by an organized, team-oriented administrative and clinical staff. We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and personable Dental Assistant to become a core part of our practice.

Key Responsibilities
Provide chairside assistance across a range of general and cosmetic procedures
Prepare, disinfect, and restock operatories between appointments
Manage instrument sterilization and reprocessing following IPAC standards
Expose diagnostic digital radiographs (HARP)
Assist with digital intraoral scanning, impressions, and lab case management
Monitor clinical inventory and assist with supply ordering
Deliver warm, attentive patient communication to ensure a comfortable visit

Qualifications




Certified Level I or Level II Dental Assistant
Valid HARP certification required
1+ years of general practice experience preferred (motivated new graduates welcome)
Strong clinical workflow, organizational, and multitasking skills
Professional chairside manner with a patient-first focus
Language Asset: Fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin is a strong asset to support our multilingual patient base
