Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist / Manager registered with the Ontario College of Pharmacists to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, providing expert patient care, and ensuring safe medication management within a retail setting. Responsibilities
Dispense prescription medications accurately in accordance with doctors’ orders and established protocols
Provide expert guidance to patients and healthcare professionals on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions
Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and safety standards related to medication handling and storage
Collaborate with medical teams to review patient histories and optimize medication therapy plans
Maintain detailed records of prescriptions, medication inventories, and patient interactions
Monitor patient responses to medications and report any adverse reactions promptly




Educate patients on proper medication administration techniques, including pediatrics and acute care scenarios
Manage and lead dispensing assistants and technicians

Skills
Proven experience working as a Pharmacist in hospital or clinical settings with a focus on acute care environments
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication protocols, and pharmacy law
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and compassionately
Experience with pediatric medication management and administering medications in acute care situations
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining accuracy in high-volume settings
Familiarity with medication administration procedures and safety standards
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare specialists

Pay: $70.00-$75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 45.0 per week
