Experienced Mason - Full Time - Fike Masonry

Overview

We’re a small crew and intend to stay that way. The goal isn’t to build a huge production company; it’s to build a handful of capable people who work well together and produce work we’re proud of. We tend to work fairly quietly when we’re focused — there’s conversation throughout the day, but when we get into a task we generally put our heads down and work. If you enjoy that kind of setting, you’ll probably fit in well.

We expect good production, but we’re not interested in rushing work just to say we got another hundred square feet done. We want someone who notices when a layout needs more thought, a stone should be recut, a joint isn’t right, or something simply doesn’t look as positive as it should.

Our work ranges from recent construction using both full-bed and thin stone veneer, to remodels, repairs and some hardscaping, so there’s quite a bit of variety.

Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation to job sites. Own basic masonry hand tools preferred. Show up prepared for a full day. Sober, skilled job site.

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
