Location: Bradford, Ontario

Schedule: Part time (Evenings and occasional weekends)

Ownership: Privately owned, optician-led small business

Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive eye exams to evaluate vision and identify ocular conditions
Prescribe corrective lenses and offer guidance on eye care
Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Educate patients on effective eye health practices




Accurately document patient information using medical terminology
Provide specialized care for pediatric and senior patients
Use Epic or similar electronic health record systems for documentation

Qualifications:
Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
Valid state licensure to practice optometry
Deep understanding of optical principles and practices
Experience in eyewear and contact lens sales is a plus
Proficiency in optometric medical terminology
Compassionate care for patients of all ages, including pediatric and senior care
