Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Estimator, where your expertise will drive the foundation for successful project execution. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs, preparing detailed takeoffs for concrete and site works and, estimates, and collaborating closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors. Your proactive approach and keen eye for detail will ensure competitive pricing and seamless project planning. Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and project scope documents
Prepare take-offs for concrete footings, foundations and slab work
Prepare take-offs for site servicing and site works
Conduct thorough market research to determine current pricing for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services
Collaborate with project management teams to review project plans and identify potential cost-saving opportunities




Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable terms while maintaining quality standards
Prepare detailed bid packages and present estimates to clients or internal stakeholders in a clear, professional manner
Review and create / revise scope of works

Experience
Proven experience in construction estimating or a related role within the construction industry
Solid knowledge of construction processes, materials, and pricing strategies
Proficiency with estimating and take-off software
Solid understanding of project management principles within the construction sector
Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy in all estimations
Prior hands-on construction experience is a plus, providing valuable insight into practical project execution

Pay: $40,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
