We're seeking a skilled and dependable Senior Accountant to join a well-established organization in the Summerside, PE area. Reporting closely to the CFO, the successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the company's accounting and financial operations while taking ownership of a broad range of responsibilities.This is permanent career chance extends beyond a traditional transactional accounting position. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys understanding the bigger picture, identifying opportunities for improvement, and contributing to the organization's continued growth and success.Job DescriptionSalary Range: $75,000 - $95,000 commensurate with experience.Key Responsibilities for the Job:Preparing and maintaining accurate financial recordsAccount reconciliations, journal entries and accrualsSupporting monthly, quarterly and annual financial reportingPreparing corporate financial statements and management reporting packagesSupporting budgeting and forecastingPerforming variance and cost analysisPreparing government funding applications and grant claim reportsSupporting external auditsAssisting with tax filings and government reportingSupporting payroll, AP,
