Garam Masala is looking for a friendly, dependable Front Counter Associate to welcome customers and keep service running smoothly. You’ll handle orders and payments, help customers choose from our menu, and support the team during busy takeout and catering periods.
Responsibilities
- Greet dine-in and takeout customers warmly and provide attentive service
- Answer phone calls, take orders, and respond to menu and catering inquiries
- Book catering orders and record customer details accurately
- Process cash and POS payments and keep accurate transaction records
- Suggest menu items and add-ons that suit customers’ orders
- Pack takeout and catering orders accurately
- Help prepare burgers and chaats as needed
- Keep the front counter and dining area clean, organized, and ready for customers
- Prioritize tasks and support teammates during busy periods
Requirements
- Fluent spoken English and Punjabi
- Excellent communication, phone etiquette, and customer service skills
- Friendly, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced workplace
- Comfortable multitasking and handling payments accurately
- Previous restaurant, front counter, cashier, or customer service experience is preferred
- Available to work weekends
