Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems and be proficient in various electrical tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work with both hand and power tools, and ensure compliance with electrical regulations.

This person will play a crucial role in renovating and building electrical systems for residential and commercial projects.

Duties

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Work with low voltage systems.
- Perform troubleshooting on electrical issues to identify problems and implement effective solutions.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on renovation projects to ensure seamless integration of electrical work.




- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards to minimize risks on the job site.

Requirements

- Experience as an Electrician or in a similar role within the construction or maintenance industry.
- Robust knowledge of electrical systems, components, and installation techniques.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Familiarity with low voltage systems is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Relevant certifications or licenses as required by local regulations.
