Registered Cardiology Technologist

Location: Victoria, BC

Job Type: Full-Time | In Person

Compensation: CA$42–45/hour

We are seeking a Registered Cardiology Technologist to join a collaborative healthcare environment focused on patient-centred care.

Responsibilities

- Perform 12-lead ECGs and other cardiac diagnostic testing
- Apply and remove Holter monitors and ambulatory blood pressure monitors
- Conduct treadmill/exercise stress testing independently
- Monitor patients throughout testing and recognize changes requiring intervention or termination of testing
- Download, upload, and process Holter and ABPM data
- Troubleshoot cardiac diagnostic equipment as needed
- Provide patients with clear instructions and ensure a positive patient experience
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation while following privacy, infection-control, and safety protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals

Requirements





- Graduation from a recognized Cardiology Technology program
- Current registration with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT)
- Current registration with the Cardiology Technologist Association of British Columbia (CTABC)
- Current CPR certification
- Experience with ECG, Holter monitoring, ABPM, and treadmill stress testing
- Ability to independently conduct and monitor treadmill stress tests
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Nice to Have

- Background as an Exercise Physiologist, Kinesiologist, or other exercise qualified
- Experience with exercise testing and/or exercise prescription
