This will be a 12 month contract role.The successful candidate will join our corporate infrastructure technology team in enabling the growth and successful operation of the company. The core responsibility of the role will include remote and in‐person, first line IT technical support and PC administration in support of Colliers Project Leader employees, with escalation of more complex issues to System, Network and Application Administrators. In addition to providing troubleshooting and issue resolution, this individual will also join IT Department project teams to deploy new technology, systems and processes to support employees and the organization as a whole.ResponsibilitiesWork as a member of a HelpDesk team to provide first line PC and user technical support for users across CanadaCreate, monitor, and update tickets in the SysAid HelpDesk ticketing systemComplete laptop setup and maintenance including hardware and software installationsMaintain a hardware inventory and identify items due for replacement or upgradeCreate and manage Active Directory user accounts and assign access control based on company policiesProcess change requests, change orders and other contract or IT related administrative documentsWork with System,



Network and Application administrators to deploy and support new technology to company workersQualificationsA degree, diploma or post‐graduate certificate in the information technology or computer sciences field1 to 2 years of experience in providing technical support in a corporate business environmentSelf‐motivation and accountability for delivering on a range of responsibilities and commitmentsIn depth experience in the building, imaging, configuration and support of PC's and laptopsExperience providing remote user support, using remote access software and other technologiesExperience working with Windows 10, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook and SharePointExperience supporting PC's in TCP/IP networks and WiFi wireless networksExperience with Microsoft network services such as Active Directory, Windows Fileshares, and Windows printer queuesExperience with basic MS Exchange tasks such as mailbox account and distribution group creation in Exchange 2010Strong verbal and written communication skillsThe ability to manage and prioritize competing priorities in a busy environmentBilingualism in French and English is considered an asset, but not requiredProficiency in presenting ideas in user‐friendly language to non‐technical staff and end usersA friendly, personable and positive outlook with the ability to build harmonious working relationships with peers, end users and external vendorsExpected Compensation$25/hourBase pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire base salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‐related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
