Your Key Responsibilities

- Chairside Assisting: Provide high-quality chairside assistance during consults, impressions, bite registrations, try-ins, and final denture insertions.
- Patient Care & Education: Guide patients through their treatment plans, explain denture care, and manage post-insertion adjustments with empathy.
- Laboratory Collaboration: Pour and trim models, articulate cases, fabricate custom trays, and manage the communication workflow with our lab technicians.
- Clinic Operations: Sterilize instruments according to IPC guidelines, maintain a clean clinical environment, and track inventory.
- Digital Workflow :



Assist with digital impressions/intraoral scanning and electronic charting and digital implant workflow
- Advanced Impression Taking: Handling closed-tray or open-tray impression copings, or utilizing intraoral scanners to capture digital impressions for final CAD/CAM bars or frameworks.
- Lab Conversions & Modifications: Assisting the denturist with "immediate load" conversions (turning a patient’s traditional denture into a fixed temporary appliance on the day of surgery).

Qualifications & Skills

- Graduation from an accredited Dental Assisting program
- Eligible for or currently holding registration with the College of Alberta Dental Assistants (CADA).
- Robust organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy clinic setting
- Strong manual dexterity and an eye for cosmetic/prosthetic detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a warm, patient-first attitude (our demographic appreciates a friendly face!).
- Basic familiarity with dental practice management software.
