The Perio Centre, a periodontal specialty practice in Edmonton, is looking for an experienced and dependable Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team for a 1-month temporary position( Oct23- Nov23) , with potential for extension.

This is a great opportunity for an RDA who enjoys a professional, calm, patient-focused environment and is comfortable assisting with periodontal and surgical procedures.

What you'll do

- Chairside assisting for periodontal and implant procedures
- Assist with periodontal surgeries, extractions, grafting and implant procedures
- Prepare surgical trays and treatment rooms
- Take radiographs and maintain accurate clinical records
- Follow sterilization and infection-control protocols
- Provide patients with post-operative instructions and support
- Assist with routine clinical and administrative duties as needed




- Help keep the clinic organized and running efficiently

What we're looking for
- Registered and licensed RDA in Alberta
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Previous dental assisting experience
- Periodontal or surgical assisting experience is an asset
- Comfortable with surgical setups and maintaining strict infection-control protocols
- Reliable, punctual and organized
- Friendly, qualified and compassionate with patients
- Able to work independently and as part of a small team
- Available to commit to the full 1-month temporary position

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 per week
