Company Description Richmond Muscle & Tendon Clinic is a specialized pain treatment clinic serving clients in the greater Vancouver area, with a focus on back, shoulder, and neck pain. The clinic offers a range of services, including EIMS™ Acupuncture, Traditional Acupuncture, Registered Massage Therapy, and Physiotherapy. Clients receive individualized treatment plans that combine evidence-informed techniques and hands-on care.

Role Description The Registered Massage Therapist will provide therapeutic massage treatments to clients, focusing on musculoskeletal pain, tension, and stress-related concerns. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing clients’ conditions, developing treatment plans, delivering appropriate massage techniques, and documenting care in accordance with regulatory requirements. The therapist will collaborate with other practitioners in the clinic to support integrated care and may educate clients on home care, stretching, and prevention strategies.

This is a contract, on-site role located in Richmond, BC,



requiring consistent in-person availability during clinic hours.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service skills with a focus on client care, communication, and qualified conduct.
- Proficiency in therapeutic massage techniques, including assessment and treatment of soft tissue and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Experience or training in Shiatsu and body massage techniques, or a willingness to learn and integrate these approaches.
- Ability to support clients with stress management through appropriate massage techniques and client education.
- Valid registration and good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia (CMTBC) or eligibility for registration.
- Current professional liability insurance and compliance with all provincial regulations and standards of practice.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary clinic and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Flexibility to work evenings or weekends based on clinic needs and client demand.
