Duties

- Deliver comprehensive patient care by assessing needs, developing care plans, and administering treatments with precision and compassion
- Manage medication administration, including injections, IV therapy, and oral medications, dressing, wound management etc. ensuring safety and accuracy
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic and Cerner to document patient information accurately and efficiently
- Perform phlebotomy procedures to collect blood samples for laboratory testing while maintaining strict safety protocols
- Assist with pain management strategies and monitor patient responses to optimize comfort levels
- Conduct patient education on health conditions, medication use, and post-discharge care instructions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate case management efforts for complex cases or chronic conditions




- Provide specialized care in pediatrics, dementia units, senior living facilities, or assisted living environments as needed
- Support laboratory functions by preparing specimens and understanding medical terminology related to diagnostics
- Engage in home care visits or hospital shifts focused on delivering personalized patient-centered care

Requirements

- Valid RN or LPN license in good standing with the appropriate licensing board
- Proven experience in hospital settings with acute care expertise; familiarity with medical terminology is essential
- Prior experience using electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner is highly preferred
- Strong background in pain management, medication administration, and patient care procedures
- Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics, seniors, dementia patients, or those requiring home care services
- Knowledge of medical office operations and laboratory procedures such as phlebotomy is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Ability to handle fast-paced situations with professionalism and attention to detail
