DAVESDUCTS is hiring an experienced Senior HVAC Technician / Crew Lead to lead junior HVAC apprentices while completing installation, retrofit and mechanical projects throughout Toronto and the GTA.DAVESDUCTS is a full-service HVAC and mechanical contractor working across residential, commercial and industrial projects. Our work includes HVAC equipment, refrigeration, hydronics, boilers, custom ductwork and sheet metal, gas-fired equipment, heat pumps, ventilation, airflow and related mechanical systems.The RoleThis is a hands‐on field leadership position. You will be expected to perform the work while organizing and developing junior technicians working with you.Responsibilities include:Lead and organize crews of junior HVAC apprenticesReview project scope and plan field executionInstall and modify HVAC equipment, ductwork and associated mechanical systemsCoordinate sheet‐metal, gas, refrigeration and related HVAC workIdentify field conflicts, deficiencies and required changes before they become costly reworkMaintain workmanship, safety and jobsite standardsTeach apprentices proper installation and troubleshooting practicesCommunicate job progress, material requirements and field conditions with the office, customers and other contractorsWork across residential,



commercial and industrial projectsQualificationsWe are looking for an experienced HVAC qualified with a strong combination of:Gas‐fitting experienceRefrigeration and air‐conditioning experienceStrong practical knowledge of HVAC installation and mechanical systemsAbility to read plans and understand project scopeExperience supervising or mentoring junior technicians/apprenticesStrong troubleshooting and problem‐solving abilityValid Ontario driver's licence and clean driving recordProfessional workmanship and attention to detailRelevant Ontario trade licences/certificates, including Gas Technician, 313A/313D and sheet‐metal qualifications, are significant assets.Why DAVESDUCTSOur work goes beyond basic equipment changeouts.
