Millgrove Veterinary Services is looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our busy, privately owned, two veterinarian practice, in a country like setting here in Carlisle, Ontario.
We offer a supportive, close knit workplace where conventional veterinary medicine is combined with holistic care in our integrative practice.
We offer 35-40 hours per week Monday - Friday (no weekends).
Responsibilities The ideal candidate is an experienced RVT who is confident in providing kind and compassionate client and patient care, who is proficent in venipuncture, surgical monitoring and anesthesia, and all aspects of clinical nursing. An interest in expanding the candidate's knowledge in integrative veterinary medicine is a bonus. Knowledge using EzyVet software is helpful, but not required.
Requirements
- Certification or Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or hospital
- Proficiency in laboratory procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners
