Job Title: Painter Blaster INote: This role is a Night Shift position and pays a premium of $2.20Job SummaryThe Painter Blaster I role is responsible for painting parts for the painting of various parts for agricultural machinery.Job DescriptionThe Painter Blaster I role is responsible for painting parts for the painting of various parts for agricultural machinery.ResponsibilityAbility to blast and paint all Salford frames and products evenly as per Salford's quality standards.Ability to train other/current employees on proper painting/blasting procedures, including equipment.Ensure quality standards are met with all products leaving the paint line.Ability to load and unload frames.Maintain detailed records pertaining to projects including; mil readings, paint consumption, and ambient environment readings.Follow all health and safety procedures as outlined in the hourly employee handbook anddepartmental safety procedures.Clean and maintain personal painting, ventilation, blast equipment and personal protective equipment.Take direction from assembly & paint supervisor as needed for specific products or projects.Other duties as assigned by production supervisor.Academic/Educational RequirementsA secondary or post-secondary education diploma or equivalentRequired Skills/ExperienceA minimum of one to two years of industrial painting in a manufacturing setting is preferred.Knowledge of wet paint techniques and a basic understanding of paint equipment is considered an asset.Work as a member of a team in a production line and collaborate with one another to resolve quality problems as needed.Take safety courses,
