The primary functions are ensuring site OH&S and security practices meet or exceed corporate and regulatory procedures and policies, coordinating site regulatory training, maintaining regulatory records for safety and security, overseeing Responsible Care Safety and Security activities, monitoring process safety, and reporting to plant management.The RoleEnsure site compliance to all government regulated requirementsImplement company-wide policies and procedures that apply to the siteDevelop, maintain, and implement site plans, policies, procedures, and support continuous improvement of these internal standardsDevelop, maintain, and implement site training programs, ensuring site employees, contractors and visitors are trained as required, including emergency response activitiesLead all regulatory reporting and documentation requirements both external and internalKeep site leadership team and Toronto head office up to date on site issuesEnsure compliance to CIAC requirementsPromote a positive safety culture through good practices and reporting hazards using our reporting applicationCoordinate completion of associated tasks delegated to site employeesParticipate as member of site Joint Health and Safety Committee and ERCO Safety Committee, acting as liaison to the Plant ManagerLead and support incident investigations, analyze incidents to identify areas of concern, prepare incident reports when appropriateTrend and analyze site performance for KPIs required throughout the yearLiaise with government,
