As the Consumer Loans Clerk you will assist the Consumer Lending Department with delivering exceptional member service by providing loan administrative support and ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, policies, and procedures.Specific ResponsibilitiesSupport the Consumer Lending Department in the delivery of products and services to members and potential members by processing non-real estate secured lending facilities on the banking system and managing disbursements in accordance with the Consumer Service Level AgreementMonitor and distribute monthly reminder reporting to appropriate person to ensure timely follow-up with memberReview loan applications, identify inaccuracies and/or omissions and follow-up as requiredSet up and process non-real estate secured lending facilities in the Banking System,



ensuring accuracy and efficiency at all timesCompile and reconcile appraisal invoices and submit payment to appraisal company in a timely mannerAddress audit inquiries and/or irregularities and follow-up with internal member in a timely mannerAdhere to service level agreements with other internal departments as requiredMaintain open communication and cooperation with the Consumer Lending Department to ensure a friendly and efficient work environment and timely completion of requestsSupport and/or train colleagues to develop and maintain a strong team dynamicRefer potential sales opportunities to the Consumer Lending Department or other specialists within the credit unionQualificationsGrade 12 diploma, plus 1 to 3 years of job related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceBusiness acumenBasic knowledge of lending policies and regulatory environmentsSoftware proficiencyHow we'll reward youYou can look forward to joining an organization that values teamwork and its membership.
