Territory Sales Manager (Eastern Ontario)Job DescriptionTerritory Sales Manager – Ammeraal Beltech Conveyor BeltingRole SummaryReporting to the VP / General Manager – Canada, the Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving aggressive growth and establishing market leadership for Ammeraal Beltech conveyor belting solutions across Eastern Ontario.This is a build-and-grow opportunity. The territory has historically been underdeveloped, and this role is expected to create momentum, expand market presence, and position Ammeraal Beltech as the partner of choice across key industries.The role requires a highly proactive, entrepreneurial approach, executing a multi-channel strategy across end users, OEMs, and distribution partners to drive both direct business and pull-through demand.Key Responsibilities1. Territory Development & Market LeadershipOwn and deliver sales targets and market share growth across Eastern OntarioDevelop and execute a territory expansion strategy to establish Ammeraal Beltech as a market leaderIdentify and prioritize high-growth verticals (e.G., food processing, packaging, logistics, airports, distribution centers, agriculture)Build strong market visibility and brand recognition in an underpenetrated region2. End-User & OEM Sales (Primary Focus)Develop direct relationships with end users and OEMs to drive specification and long-term partnershipsIdentify opportunities to replace competitive belts and standardize on Ammeraal Beltech solutionsLead technical and commercial sales discussions, positioning value beyond price (performance, lifecycle cost, food safety, uptime, On time delivery, lead times)Generate consistent project pipelines and conversion opportunitiesBuild and strengthen relationships with select strategic distribution partnersDrive pull-through demand by influencing end users and ensuring distributors executeConduct joint sales calls, training, and account planning with distributor partnersAlign distributor activity with territory growth priorities and hold partners accountable to results4. New Business Development (Hunter Mindset)Proactively identify and win new customers, applications, and projectsBuild a strong pipeline through:Cold outreach and prospectingIndustry networking and eventsReferrals and market intelligenceConsistently convert opportunities into sustainable, long-term business5. Account Management & Strategic ExecutionDevelop and execute strategic account plans for key end users, OEMs, and distributors,
including:Key decision makers and influencersApplication opportunities and conversion targetsConduct regular business reviews with top customers and partnersExpand share of wallet within existing accounts6. Commercial Excellence & CRM DisciplineFully utilize Salesforce CRM to:Manage pipeline, opportunities, and account activityTrack progress against targetsMaintain accurate and complete customer dataMaintain a robust and active pipeline with robust opportunity hygieneUse data and insights to prioritize efforts and improve win rates7. Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner closely with:Customer Service and Inside SalesApplication/Technical Product SpecialistsOperations and Installation teamsSupport product launches, promotions, and industry initiativesSuccess Profile (What Great Looks Like)Establishes Ammeraal Beltech as a recognized market leader in Eastern OntarioBuilds a strong pipeline and wins new strategic accountsSuccessfully converts competitive businessDemonstrates high activity levels, ownership, and CRM disciplineQualifications & ExperienceExperience in industrial B2B sales, preferably in conveyor belting, material handling, or related industriesProven track record of:New business development and territory growthSelling to end users, OEMs, and/or distributorsDriving technical or application-based salesStrong understanding of industrial processes and conveying applications is preferredEntrepreneurial, build-from-scratch mindsetStrong technical and commercial selling capabilityAbility to influence multiple stakeholders across organizationsExcellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsHighly organized with strong pipeline and CRM management disciplineComfortable operating in a remote, field-based roleAdditional RequirementsBased in Eastern Ontario (Toronto to Ottawa corridor preferred)Willingness to travel 50-70% within the territory (mostly day trips)Valid driver's licenseEligible to work in CanadaBachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferredWhy This Role MattersThis role is critical to unlocking the next phase of growth in Eastern Canada.
