Our 60,000 sq. ft. facility offers advanced diagnostics, specialized veterinary medicine, and a highly team-oriented, multidisciplinary environment.As part of our Anesthesia team, you will work closely with experienced RVTs, veterinarians, and board-certified specialists in Anesthesia, Surgery, Critical Care, Neurology, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Oncology, Ophthalmology, and more—gaining hands-on experience with a wide range of complex and rewarding cases.The Role – Anesthesia RVTAs an Anesthesia RVT, you will play an important role in providing safe, individualized anesthetic and perioperative care to patients undergoing a variety of surgical, diagnostic, and specialty procedures.Working closely with our Anesthesia and specialty teams, you will support patients throughout the entire anesthetic process—from preparation and induction through monitoring and recovery.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with anesthetic planning, patient assessment, and preparationPrepare patients, medications, anesthesia equipment, and monitoring equipment for proceduresInduce, monitor, and support the recovery of patients undergoing anesthesia and sedationPerform IV catheter placement, medication administration, fluid therapy,



and other technical procedures within the RVT scope of practiceProvide continuous patient monitoring using advanced equipment, including multiparameter monitoring, capnography, ECG, blood pressure, pulse oximetry, and temperature monitoringRecognize changes in patient condition and respond quickly and appropriately in collaboration with the veterinarianSupport anesthesiologists, surgeons, and specialty teams throughout surgical and diagnostic proceduresAssist with airway management, mechanical ventilation, and advanced anesthetic techniques as requiredSupport multimodal pain management and patient comfort throughout the perioperative periodProvide attentive post-anesthetic monitoring and nursing care during recoveryMaintain accurate and detailed anesthesia records and medical documentation using EzyVet and VetRadarEnsure anesthesia machines, monitoring devices, and related equipment are properly maintained, cleaned, and prepared for useFollow established anesthesia, patient safety, and infection-prevention protocolsCollaborate closely with RVTs, DVMs, specialists, and other members of the hospital team to support optimal patient outcomesWhat We're Looking ForRegistered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in good standing with the OAVTStrong interest and/or experience in anesthesia, analgesia, and perioperative patient careMinimum 3 years of experience in a referral or emergency practice preferredExcellent patient monitoring, assessment,
